Granger Westberg’s own words thread together the story of his remarkable life in this inviting narrative. From his earliest days in the formative cradle of family and church to the lasting imprint of his life on the field of faith and health with a lens trained on whole person care, Granger’s grit, and spunk shine on every page. His career spanned pastoral ministry, academic appointments, education reform, organizational launches, and prolific publications—all united by an unwavering conviction that the church can do more to help people find healing. Time and again he met challenges with innovation, breaking new ground and building deep foundations that support an enduring, inspiring legacy. Crafted with his daughters’ devotion from research and recordings of Granger’s reflections on his life, Gentle Rebel gives us a tender picture of a man who loved deeply and was deeply loved.
