This module assists the participant to consider opportunities, barriers and methods to overcome the challenges of creating and establishing faith community nursing health ministry in various settings. Educational opportunities, coaching, mentoring and guidelines for support of novice nurses and new ministries is emphasized. Online supplements include sample covenants, job descriptions, malpractice insurance, partnerships, budgets, self-care tips, quality assurance, outcome measurement, data collection, planning purposes & program support.
Upon completiong of this webinar,the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the characteristics of management vs. leadership.
- Discuss 3 styles of leadership that relate to faith community nurse coordinators.
- Explore how to develop personal strenghts related to management and leadership as an FCN Coordinator.
