Continuing Education Credits

All participants of the Caring for the Human Spirit® Conference and the Westberg Symposium, whether attending in-person or via webcast, can qualify for up to 23 continuing education credits.

 

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

All participants qualify for 23 CEUs. A Certificate of Attendance/CEU Certificate will be automatically emailed to all participants after the conference. No additional forms are required to be completed. This applies to both in-person and webcast participants.


 

Continuing Nursing Education contact hours (CNEs)

Participants interested in Continuing Nursing Education contact hours (CNEs) must complete the online form by clicking on the blue Online Form button below. Your certificate will be sent to you automatically after submission, using the email address you will provide during submission. Please note that it is the responsibility of each participant to submit contact hours to their respective board of nursing, as neither SCA or Westberg will not be submitting this information. CNEs are awarded by The Westberg Institute, an approved provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Tennessee Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.


 

Continuing Medical Education (CMEs)

Participants may receive 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Participants interested must complete an online form by clicking on the blue Online Form below. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This form must be completed after the conference has concluded. Upon completion of this form, participants will receive an email confirmation with their awarded CMEs. Social Worker Contact Hours

Participants interested in receiving Social Worker Contact Hours must complete an online form by clicking on the blue Online Form button below. Upon completion of this online form, participants will receive an email confirmation of their hours. Social Worker Contact Hours are provided by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
