Post-conference: 2021 Faith Community Nurse Research Forum

sponsored by Faith Community Nurse International (FCNI)

This forum will focus on the different education paths prepare Faith Community Nurses to contribute in various ways to the specialty practice. Participants will explore and discuss the various paths available for Faith Community Nurses and how each contributes by working with frontline faith community nurses. A panel of Faith Community Nurses (PhD, DNP, MSN, and BSN) will provide opportunities for inquiry and discussion into how each contributes to the research agenda. Participants will have opportunity for open discussion, Q&A and reflection regarding faith community nursing practice and research.

  1. Review different educational tracks for preparation and how each track supports the advancement of faith community nursing research.
  2. Identify how each advanced prepared nurse can interact and work with the faith community nurse to advance the practice.
  3. Explore opportunities for collaboration with practicing faith community nurses regarding research in faith community nursing.
